Excel later opened clinics in Easley and Seneca, a result of the increasing demand for patient-centered care. Excel provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and hand therapy in Clemson, Easley and Seneca, along with the recent addition of pelvic health physical therapy now available at the Seneca location. Excel’s therapists and staff aim to provide the highest level of patient care possible and strive to be the number one choice when patients and physicians seek an outpatient therapy provider. “I believe that at Excel, I can serve our community and our patients,” said David E. Bright, PT, MPT, chief of physical therapy and a co-founder of Excel. “Taking care of patients and getting them better is not just about doing my job, but it is about staying on a mission to care for those in need. Each day I come to work is an opportunity to live out my faith and positively impact the lives of those in my care.” The company owes much of its success to unwavering community support and patients’ enthusiasm to share their experience with others. Members of the Excel team realize that patients have a choice when selecting a therapy provider, so they encourage patients to advocate for their health before, during and after treatment by talking to friends and meeting their therapy provider upfront, developing a solid relationship with their therapist and sharing their experience with their physician. “Excel has created an environment for me to share my knowledge and innovation with patients, the next generation of therapists and our expanding medical community,” shared Doug Lauber OTR/L, CHT, chief of occupational therapy and Excel co-founder. “The opportunity to be a part of patient progress and industry leadership is an honor.” Ensuring the quality of the patient experience, providing hands-on care with the same therapist every visit, building patient relationships and investing in community wellness all are part of the strength behind Excel’s patient-first mission.
